Mortal Kombat 12 is set to launch in 2023, confirmed by Warner Bros. during an earnings call relating to its 2022 earnings. Speaking on what’s to come, Mortal Kombat 12 is listed alongside Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League as to WB’s big releases.

We’ve yet to hear from anyone at NetherRealm about this news, though with it being confirmed for later this year its likely we’ll hear something from them soon.
The last time we heard from NetherRealm, it was Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon reigning in player expectations about the upcoming Game Awards event at the time, where players were speculating an announcement trailer for Mortal Kombat 12 could drop.
Boon was transparent with players in that the studio wasn’t ready, and though it might not still be ready to show off our first look, its likely that we won’t have to wait much longer.
NetherRealm has however been teasing at MK12 for some time now, so it’ll be great when it is finally revealed.
