It appears that the BioShock movie may be heading back into production, as Prision Break’s Wentworth Miller has left an interesting hint on his twitter.
"Prison Break may be ending, but I’ve got things in the works. Hint…one word: BioShock," states Miller.
The BioShock film was believed to be shelved after Universal found that the planned budget for the movie was nearing $160 million USD. The film’s director, Gore Verbinski, stated in April that he has asked Universal to move the filming outside of the U.S. to take advantage of a tax credit. Until Universal decides, however, the film is on hold.
Perhaps Miller’s tweet is the first sign of the film entering pre-production again, unless he has a role in BioShock 2, the game. Only time will tell.
