What PlayStation Move games will you play this fall?

It’s hard to believe anther holiday season is right around the corner, but your bank accounts are about to get wiped out by some massive game releases. In addition to the blockbusters that you likely have on pre-order, Sony Computer Entertainment America today revealed new games that will be available with Move support.

There is a little bit of something for everyone here, including the addition of Move support to inFamous 2 and its Festival of Blood content. You probably already know about the Move pack coming to LittleBigPlanet 2, but we will also see some new games this fall. Details from Sony’s announcement are listed below.

Everybody Dance – October 18
Everybody Dance is a high-energy dance experience set to a soundtrack of 40 chart-topping party hits including "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO, "Rude Boy" by Rihanna and "Barbra Streisand" by Duck Sauce. Players can put their dancing skills to the test using the Move motion controller and PlayStation Eye camera to track and score their moves. Grab a friend for a cooperative Partner Routine, compete in a Dance Battle, or invite up to 19 additional players over for the ultimate dance-off in Party Play mode. Players can also choreograph custom dance routines and then challenge their friends to score against their moves with Dance Creator. Those who want to share their performances with even more friends can upload video highlights and photos to their social networks on Facebook and Twitter.

Carnival Island – November 15
Carnival Island invites you to take a trip to a magic carnival and experience the joy of classic family-friendly fun with 35 carnival attractions. Utilizing the Move controller’s precise tracking technology, every toss, roll, throw, spin and slam is translated directly into the game for accurate and responsive gameplay. By completing challenges, players can create their own cheering squad consisting of lovable pets throughout their experience. Players can also have fun by interacting with fun house mirrors, photo cut-outs and upload snapshots of their experiences directly onto the XMB to send to a PSN friend. In addition to its enchanting single-player mode, Carnival Island is the perfect ingredient for family game night, featuring a fantastically fun party mode, which supports up to four players at once, for play with one or two Move motion controllers.

EyePet & Friends – November 15
EyePet is back and this time he’s got company: two pets with one enjoyable augmented reality experience right in your living-room. EyePet & Friends is a continuation of the innovative EyePet franchise which enables kids and their families to experience the magic of a virtual Pet in the real world. It combines new technologies and gameplay, and takes both camera-based games and the Pet genre to a completely new level. The introduction of the second EyePet allows for all-new interactive activities and mini-games that bring kids and families together. The game also features exciting new items and modes that encourage kids to express their creativity by fully customizing their EyePets’ appearance and play areas.

inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood – October 25
Take another journey with Cole MacGrath as he strives to save New Marais from a fast spreading infection. Bitten by a vampire, our hero has only one night to find and destroy her-before he and New Marais succumb to the infection. Taking place within the inFAMOUS 2 universe, the brand new adventure introduces new enemies and re-imagines New Marais into a darker, gritty city, with new dangers lying in wait. Cole doesn’t enter the foray unarmed however. inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood amps up Cole’s super-powered arsenal with exciting new abilities to help fight back the vampire hordes.

inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood brings with it Move support, allowing players to experience what it’s like to wield electricity with the precise motion control of PlayStation Move. The single-player expansion will be available October 25 for $14.99 on PlayStation Network and the original inFAMOUS 2 disc is not needed to enjoy inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood. Also coming October 25 is Move support for inFAMOUS 2, via a free-of-charge automatic game update. Players can now explore and experience New Marais with full motion control.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling – September 13
The LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack combines the PlayStation Move motion controller with the world of LittleBigPlanet, and with five giant story levels and seven side levels, this is LittleBigPlanet’s biggest Downloadable Content (DLC) pack to date. It features a new story mode – The Rise of the Cakeling – in which a rogue cake threatens doom and destruction, and you Sackfolk must once again attempt to restore peace to Craftworld. The LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack is available for download only via the PlayStation Network for $9.99.

Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest – November 15
From the same team that brought you Sports Champions, the best selling PlayStation® Move title, Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest combines sword fighting, archery and throwing stars in a playful action-adventure! Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest is a non-stop action adventure specifically designed for the PlayStation® Move! The evil Sorcerer Morgrimm has invaded Prince Edmund’s Castle and plots to take over the kingdom, raising an army of skeletons from beyond. Now, let the adventure begin as you battle Morgrimm, and his minions, to restore order to the kingdom!

Swing your sword to counter attack an enemy, reach back to your quiver for an arrow to aim a pinpoint accurate shot or toss a barrage of throwing stars with the kind of true angle, speed and precision that is only available on Move. 

Available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system, the PlayStation Move offers an innovative gaming experience by using realistic, high-definition gaming along with accurate, intuitive control.
