In an interview with Red Bull, development studio Team17 has confirmed that their long-running strategy franchise Worms will be coming like a homing missile onto the PlayStation Vita in 2013.
Worms broke new ground on the Amiga platform in 1995 with innovations to the turn-based artillery genre. The latest release, 2012’s Worms: Revolution, was critically lauded for fun gameplay and deep customization.
Dubbed the "ultimate handheld console version," Worms for PS Vita is being closely developed with Sony. No other details are given, but stay tuned to PSU and we will parachute news in as it comes.
