Black Matter and Team17 have announced that World War II shooter Hell Let Loose will launch on October 5, 2021 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game recently enjoyed a Closed Beta session for Sony’s latest home console, which was extended by one week and wrapped yesterday.

If you haven’t been keeping up with our coverage, Hell Let Loose plucks a number of historical battles from the Second World War’s Western Front, including Carentan, Omaha Beach, Foy, and more. Players are thrust into the battlefield to take part in massive 50 vs 50 multiplayer skirmishes, with 14 unique roles to master such as Officer, Medic, Machinegunner, and Commadner Crewman.
Battles are broken down into armour, infantry, and recon, with two distinct modes to master: Offensive and Warfare. Whether you’re a sniper or tank crewman, everyone has a vital role to play in the battle.
