Ever since E3, Microsoft has been shouting in our ears that consumers with existing Live accounts can seamlessly transfer them onto Xbox360. And recently at ‘Leipzig’ in Germany, Microsoft revealed its price structure for the 2 SKU’s of their Xbox360 console. Yet, what was not shared with consumers was the pricing for the new Live for Xbox360.
According to leaked information, first disclosed by the staff of Xbox Live France. The price has been slightly raised from the Xbox live available in the market today. These new Live packages start from US$7.99 and go all the way up to US$69.99. The least expensive package offers only a single month of subscription to Xbox Live and is the best for money conscious consumers. The premium Gold bundle at $69.99, the highest priced Live package, comes with a communicator headset and other interesting goodies. A hint that it’s being targeted at consumers purchasing the ‘Core’ version of Microsoft Xbox360.
These packages are now available at EBgames.com for pre-ordering. The existing 12 month Live card for the current Xbox costs only US$49.99. While a similar one in the new Live package costs US$59.99. An increase of $10 should be noted by money savvy consumers.
