Gran Turismo father Kazunori Yamauchi has assured salivating punters that Polyphony Digital’s upcoming GT5 will be “totally different” when compared to the Prologue edition released in 2008.
“Prologue is really only a prologue,” said Yamauchi, during a chinwag with the folks at CVG.
“Though the look and feel of Prologue and the full version will have uniformity, the full version will be totally different in terms of scale and diversity in comparison.”
Recently Yamauchi also addressed the possibility of PlayStation Move functionality in the hit series, suggesting it would only be incorporated if the technology proved “interesting.”
As for when the game is out, well, we’re still none the wiser. However, the developers have assured fans that it will emerge some time in 2010.
