Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that although he’ll be “relieved” once development of Gran Turismo 5 has finally wrapped, he’ll also be pretty miffed too.
“I’d probably be relieved [to finish development] in terms of having fulfilled my responsibilities, but I may be angry at the same time,” said Yamauchi-san, during a chinwag with PSM3.
“As it has been with all of the releases so far, I’m never fully satisfied with what I create.”
We have a sneaky suspicion Yamauchi won’t be the only one relieved once the game is finally done and dusted – quite frankly, it can’t come soon enough. Last we heard, GT5 was around 90 per cent complete, with a release planned for some time in 2010.
More as we get it.
