Yooka-Laylee gets E3 2016 trailer, confirmed for 2017 release

Yooka-Laylee, the platforming adventure from Playtonic and Team 17, has received an official E3 2016 trailer ahead of the Los Angeles show in June.

Yooka-Laylee, due for release in Q1 2017 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U, will be showcased to those attending E3 2016, which runs from 14-16 June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“We are really excited to release today the E3 trailer for Yooka-Laylee and confirm our presence in Los Angeles where we will showcase the game for the first time to the media and influencers,” said Gavin Price, Creative Director and MD of Playtonic.

Yooka-Laylee is said to be the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, and the developer hopes to capture the fun and excitement of the mid-to-late 90’s platforming era. Expect bright colours, tons of pick-ups and zany gameplay!
