In the latest issue of Edge magazine, Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc, looked back on the development history of the PlayStation 4 and revealed that the next-gen console was developed alongside the PlayStation Vita.
"PS Vita was a shorter project compared to PS4, but Mark [Cerny] and Worldwide Studios were involved in both projects, and we worked on both projects simultaneously,” explained Yoshida.
Hopefully this means the PS4 will have more features and cross-functions with the PS Vita. Sony already announced gamers would be able to play all PS4 games on their Vitas via Remote Play.
