Many gamers love the improvements Sony made to the analog sticks for the Dualshock 4, but there are some who preferred the previous iterations.
One of those gamers is YouTube veteran Shorty Payne. The majority of his videos pertain to tips, tricks, and highlight videos for Call of Duty games, but his latest illustrates how to swap out the analog sticks. Gaming Bolt first reported about Shorty Payne’s video as a follow up to a story they did regarding damaged Dualshock 4 analog sticks.
According to Gaming Bolt, some PS4 owners are reporting that the material on the Dualshock 4 controllers is peeling off. While one could purchase a new controller, or deal with hardware warranty stipulations, Shorty Payne’s fix would provide an alternative method.
