XSEED Games has announced that a limited edition release of Ys: Memories of Celceta–titled Ys: Memories of Celceta Silver Anniversary Edition–will be released alongside the standard version for PlayStation Vita this holiday season.
The Silver Anniversary Edition of the game will include a 3-CD collection of original and arranged music spanning the entire history of the franchise and game-specific items such as a cloth map detailing the world of Celceta, a logo-emblazoned compass, and ‘Adol’s Travel Journal,’ which contains adventure strategies and artwork. All of this comes in an exclusive commemorative package. The price of the Silver Anniversary Edition will be $59.99, compared to the $39.99 asking price for the standard game.
Ys: Memories of Celceta is a re-imagining of Ys IV, which never released in the West. The game has been completely re-worked and even the story has been modified to feature a more intriguing tale filled with "mystery and distrust." If you are unfamiliar with the Ys universe, the gameplay is full of fast-paced and acrobatic combat set in an epic fantasy world.
