Treyarch has hinted that CoD: World at War’s Zombie Mode may be shambling over to the studio’s latest effort in the franchise, namely the Cold War-era shooter, CoD: Black Ops.
Our decomposing friends proved so popular with gamers in 2008’s World at War that they even managed to bag their down dedicated iPhone game. As a result, it seems Treyarch may feel compelled to bring them back for Black Ops.
“We really like the Zombie Mode, and as I mentioned I can’t talk about the co-op mode other than to say one of the reasons we love it so much is that it feels like it was a fan adopted mode, made out of passion of a lot of the team members here,” said Treyarch’s Mark Lamia, during a chinwag with OPM.
“Well all I can tell you is we listen to the fanbase. Those are our consumers, so…"
