why do ps3 owners have to wait longer?

Agreed haynsey. I think its bs how we have to wait for ours yet once again the crashbox gets theirs first. As much as I love COD 4 I don't think I will get the V-pack right away.. GTA IV is five days from that date and it will consume most of my gaming time. I will definatly get it though later on in the year when there is break in games coming out.

wow. For all the talk about sony psn having the advantage of a more "restrictionless" online community, and xbox live having so many restrictions. Xbox live sure seems to have more online beta's and patchs come out weeks before psn. How do you explain that one?

The 360 is getting this before PS3 because Microsoft to get it earlier, and i think Live gets stuff quicker because Microsoft pay for it, and i think they spend the money because theyre getting money from each LIve membership arent they. Thats why they get stuf quicker

why do we have to pay for the maps

IW are a bit of a joke as far as im concerned.  The Number of people who have problems with the online gameplay with COD4 is incredible, yet no one at IW has come out to explain why, or discuss what they are doing to fix it. Theres no way im paying for more maps until i can rely on the game working online everytime i want to play.

@ Reagan1981: It's not a matter of restrictions, it's a matter of quality control.  Mind you, the could just be making the 360 maps first and the PS3's second.  Why? Probably because more copies were sold on the 360 and the PS3 online is shot as far as I know.  I'm picking this up when they fix everything broken.

None of you have any idea what you are talking about.  None of you.  The closest one was the guy that said the restrictions for a patch for the PSN is a longer process...(1) because that's just the way Sony is and (2) because it has to essentially do it for 3 world markets.

Next, there's nothing broken.  When was the last time you played?  Or have you never played and just believed the neg-hype?  I have had this since launch and the problem was that no one thought it would sell as well as it did on the PS3.  The server was always bogged.  If you have problem now, it's beacuse your connection sucks.  I have NO issues (anymore).  But whatever, believe what you want.

COD4 will be over after a few weeks when GTA IV comes out.

I bought the map pack for RFOM and I never really played it. Maybe 4 times at the most. I know COD4 is different, but I'm not sure I'm getting this right away

theres no point in buying it when GTA 4 comes out a few days after the release of the new maps, if sony had any sense or IW this should/would have been sorted a long time ago. IW have shot themselves in the foot.

thats stupid that we gotta pay when the game of the year version is comin out on the 24th as well and those ppl who havent bought them yet will get them for free

Damn $10 for 4 extra maps......IW is gonna make a killin lmao. But then again the quality of their levelsmaps are top class. I need a US PSN card, come on Sony...or atleast let people that do not have a US credit card be able to  add money to their wallet from the official Sony website....bastards!

Wow, so everybody can afford a PS3 for $500 or $600, but can't fork in $10... btw minimum wage is $7.25 over here. People go work for and hour and a half and there you go. Anybody who's complaining needs to chill... lol Infinity Ward made an awesome game and we need to give them credit for it. It's funny how when one person complains, it just spreads the negativity to the next comment.
