At Konami's Tokyo Game Show press conference, famed Castlevania producer Koji 'IGA' Igarashi unveiled a new Castlevania title for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Little was revealed about the new project, but a 10-second teaser depicting a man holding a flaming-red sword was shown. We have a screen capture courtesy of ITmedia.

Release appears to be a long time off for this untitled Castlevania. We'll be sure to keep you updated when more details become available.
UPDATE: The teaser trailer is out in the wild. We've placed it below.

Can't go wrong with Castlevania.
cool i really like the castlevania series hopefully they can really portray that castlevania feel in a 3d type game, the only ones that really stand out are the old orignals and sidescrollers
Does anybody on here knows what were the major announcements at TGS by Sony?
i am a fan of this franchise and i am certainly looking forward to this one.
wow i forgot all about this series... always loved the one for ps2 tho
Hate to disagree with grayfox on comment number one... but they can go massively wrong if they don't do a great job with the game. They have done some horrible interpretations of this series in the past. I hope they do a great job for I really loved the earlier installments in this series.
Ohhh yes, hope it's as good as Symphony of the night. By the way it looks like tha might be Alucard judging from the clothes. If so it might take place right after Symphony of the Night. Keeping finger crossed.
ive always wanted to see a Castlevania go the way of the Zelda games. an open world type exploration type adventure.
anyone know if sony announced those 11 titles that aren't known yet at TGS? Or do they still have yet to announce em?
Sony FCCking rules they always come with new games.
Castlevania has never really worked in 3d, I hope they get it right.
If it's 3-D, they need to rip off Devil May Cry (to an extent). DMC 1 was always viewed as the 3-D Castlevania we never got.
Looks cool. I want it.
Could be Alucard, if his eyes flash he's vampiric, maybe they'll do a flippity flop and let u play as a young Dracula fighting against the Belmonts. (You heard it here folks). Anyway, hope it beats the bad 3D rap Castlevania has been getting.
ok gay much?
alucard |!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG PLZ
