UPDATE #2: Sorry guys, this was a blatant rumor which began at a respectable source, N4G.com. The fact that they started this rumor and flamed it to the masses is disheartening to say the least. A member of the TeamICOGamers Blogspot has informed us that this is primarily a feature in relation to SotC and nothing more. I apologize to our readers personally for this misunderstanding.
UPDATE #1: Sorry that the image is currently not working guys. It's an issue with our media server. Also, I would link to the source of this information if it weren't for the fact that it has been taken down. I've also made a change in the article from citing the homepage to the blogspot, which was an error on my part, and I apologize for the confusion. I'll keep you updated if anything changes regarding this.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: The latest at Team ICO's blogspot suggests they are. According to the blogspot, visitors can expect something to happen on February 10. They've left it up to the slogan displayed below and given you, the readers, the opportunity to just let your imaginations bring to fruition whatever it is you desire.

the first game was kinda short--got me thinking though. The controlls seemed a bit off, and though it was graphically insane, some things looked meh.
I'm sure since they now have a name in the biz, tho, they can churn out something incredible, again. Just... tweak it a bit.. I know i'm not the only one who thought the first was a little clunky.
oh.. and.. "AAAHHDOE!"

I just think its poor journalism to say something and show NO evidence for it. Wheres the picture in the story? Where's the web link? Poor, poor, poor!!! Dave Wales hang your head in shame, if you can't back it up with a link or a picture, then its just fabrication to me. Please tell me your not another Sarad?

The photo was obviously in the article if everyone was commenting on it, lmao. We already issued our apologies for the server issues we're having... You see that little vertical blue bar? That's the image, but the server isn't reading it. Something is up with our media server.
Also, the homepage is easily found through google. Sorry for not linking it.

I've tried looking for it through google, typed in Team Ico nothing comes up. I hoped you weren't going all Sarad on us because most of your articles are actually well written and normally balanced. I've actually stopped reading the made up hypothetical fan boy nonesense Sarad writes. If you could provide a link it'd be much appreciated. I loved both ICO and SOTC and I'm really looking forward to whatever it is Team Ico do next. Cheers.

Thank you kind SIr I have now seen the picture. My honest opinion. FAKE, FAKE, FAKE. Team Ico have put out static scenary pictures prior to annoucing both Ico and SOTC. THey've NEVER gone in for cryptic messages. That typface is oh so cheap looking as well. It looks like its been put together by a photoshop amateur lol. Oh dear. A lot of who har about nothing methinks!!!

Happens to the best of us mate. However for future reference, rules of journalism:
1) Always cite your sources and make them clear
2) Just because someone says its so doesn't me you should take their word for it
3) Check, double check and then check again
4) If it all goes wrong blame someone else! ... Oh you've got that one down. :)
Only pulling your leg. I think until something official come out I'm going to take all these rumours with a pinch of salt. I know that Fumito Ueada has gone on record sayng that they don't inted to do traditional sequels like other teams and don't want to create franchises. Hence no Ico 2 and they went with SOTC, similar in looks but a completely different game. I expect there 3rd project to be something different again. Cheers.

DaveW thats all anyone can ever do... learn from things. I always wait for official news or press releases myself. I read sites like this to get the spin on it and what forum members think. Still I can't wait to see what Team Ico actually do!!! Cheer up though mate, could be worse... you could work for N4G.com lol.

I mean, come on, grow up! He made a mistake that's it. No need to put salt in the scar. Even though I think it's bad editing to get news from N4G.com, which only is a bunch of fanboys, I don't degrade anyone.
Just delete the article and move on.
