10-minute Resistance 2 video blowout

Alright, here they are, as promised; the videos below contain a glorious 10 minutes of in-game footage from Resistance 2. In the first video, explosions abound and limbs fly as Nathan Hale battles furiously through wave after wave of Chimera in the single-player campaign. In the second, hardened heroes band together and fight the Chimera in the game's co-op mode, then 60 players face off in the massive competitive online multiplayer mode. Now that Resistance 2 is officially astounding, only one question remains -- why are you still reading this? Watch the videos already!

was it just me or did the multiplayer's graphics look a bit..."iffy" (texturewise) when it came to all those cameria during the second slide? I know that it wont be up to par with the campaign b/c of all the people...but still.

i know i am on psu (playstation oriented site),and believe u me,i am a ps fan since the beginning ,but for anyone who is saying that this game will stir some competition for gears of war 3 that's just denial . gears of war will kick resistance's as*.IMO @ least.if it plays like the first,and from the vids i've seen it's better.so resistance doesn't stand a chance. lets all pray that sony will land the 3rd.

ok i know that this is a PS page but about the comment of @Solrac Gears Of War 2 is a great game so do Resistance 2 and those are 2 different gameplays GOW2 is third person and Resistance2 is FPS, i really think that GOW, and GOW2 such as Halo are great games and thats it, no more, i know PS3 has better games (i like more the games of PS3) and the resistance2 has a very good story such as GOW2, so pls lets stop being fanboys and be real gamers PSN/XBL: XxVvIcToRxX

＠steve-o: the game should look a little the same hence "PART 2" are you telling me Gears 2 doesn't look anything like the first. IMO Gears2 looks and plays more like Gears1 than R2 lookin and playin like R1. the graphics are gorgeous. you can't judge them from a vid capture. get the game, get a hd tv and then talk. anyway, as someone else smart said: a good game is a good game, stop trying to compare it. if you got both systems pick up both games.

I am so NOT impressed!!! didn't like the first one either. reminds me of Castle Wolfenstein. All you seem to do is shoot monsters and that's it. large amounts of them to boot. No skills and/or thinking involved here. BORING....ZZZzzzz.....

I was really expecting more from Resistance 2, I'm some how disapointed. I don't think it's going to be bad, not at all, it's gonna be a great game, but I just don't believe this to be that of big hit we all have been waiting for.
Ps.: That "Flame-Thrower" on second vid (00:18) looks like crap.

NDGO i've played both games,Resistance 1 and gears of war 2,im definitely not gonna compare em,but either way the graphics of resistance are not even that GREAT! and if ur telling me that Resistance 1 and 2 are gonna be the same then right there ur telling me that the graphics and the game are garbage cause i bought resistance 1 and...i was definitely upset by it,especially the online play

i was really hoping that resistance2 would be big, but from the videos im watching its not. im a pure playstatin fan, but lets be honest the game looks freakin boring.. and the graphics aint that special, id rather wait for killzone2

this is like 3 games in 1!!! it's a single player, online co -op and competetive multiplayer. I know most games nowadays have all these aspects too, but this looks like it delivers all thses things as if they were different games all together. Can't fikin wait!!!
