The 80GB PlayStation 3 bundle is now available for purchase from all major online and general retail stores across North America and Canada.
The new SKU, which retails for USD 599/CND 659, comes complete with a substantially larger 80GB hard drive unit for various storage purposes, in addition to a copy of Evolution Studios’ MotorStorm. The game is hailed as one of the premier showcases for online gaming on the PS3, able to facilitate up to 12 online players at any one time.
“…We have effectively created a system that is 'future-proof',
providing consumers an exceptional entertainment value that will stand the test of time,” commented Peter Dille, vice president of marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Meanwhile, the 60GB model is currently available for the reduced price of USD 499 – however, the SKU will be phased out once stock at retail is depleted. Stay tuned for any further information regarding Sony’s retail strategy here at PSU as it breaks.

I've always hated bundles, I'd rather buy the games I want and have them put a cheaper price on the console. I got mine on day 1 anyway, I just wanted to mention my point of view :)
