A hefty dose of Fat Princess comes this week

The wait for Titan Studios’ downloadable game Fat Princess is finally over, as the game is set to hit the PlayStation Network on Thursday. PlayStation 3 owners can get their hands on this multiplayer-team inspired title for $14.99 USD.

Deborah Mars, managing producer of SCEA Santa Monica Studio, made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, indicating that the game will be released simultaneously in North America, Europe, and Asia. Japan will see the game at a later date.

The game features two clans of players in a comic medieval battle. You are tasked with rescuing your beloved princess from the enemy dungeon. Of course it won’t be that simple: your opponents have stuffed her with food, requiring most of your army to work together to carry her back home.

    The beta was completely dead after the first week...and I'm afraid that the same will happen with the live version. I'll have to take a wait-and-see stance.

    i would had gotten the game if it had splitscreen co-op. this is a perfect game to have splitscreen and play with a buddy. o well maybe theyll patch it in at some point
