Max Payne theatrical trailer releasedFor the January 17th PlayStation Store update, many gamers should be very thankful as Turok 3, FIFA Street 3, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero III all have a bounty of content this week.
For the Americans, it will be a nice dish of a Turok 3 demo and a FIFA Street 3 demo. There are also three new downloadable Rock Band songs, Action by Sweet’s, Last Train to Clarksville by The Monkees’, and All the Small Things by Blink 182.

For the Europeans, things are a bit underwhelming but still something to rejoice over nonetheless. There is no Turok 3 demo here, as that will be released next month for the Europeans, but there is an NBA 08 demo and also the FIFA Street 3 demo. Instead of Rock Band content, the Europeans will receive new Guitar Hero III tracks, Ernten Was Wir Saen by Die Fantastischen, So Payaso by Extremoduro, and Antisocial by Trust.

I like the Turok demo. I also downloaded the Pixel Junk Monsters trailer. It looks rather addictive to me.

For everyone complaining: i understand. It does suck - but the answer is simple: create a new profile on your PS3 (call it "US Account") and sign up for the PSN on that account under a fake US address.. its as simple as that and you can access both stores. You can even get a Japanese account if you wanted to.
yes. i have a japanese, european account. its really not hard to do. it probaly easier to do that than just complain all the time.

I have my Japanese acount and today i bought METAL SLUG its great man. Sony US is dam and half of the update are for ROCK BAND. Instead of releasing some games for us, Sony keep releasing these dam song i have no idea what people will do with them Any way by tomorrow i will buy Resident evill 2 and have fun. Staude, my friend its easy if you put the correct information and you could add funds by buying PSN card from Ebay and enter the numbers and you will have money to buy from Japanese store man. Thats what i did.

Turok demo was released in the UK as well...well that is if you have an xbox...
seriously, why do Sony constantly let down the UK/EU market with sub standard updates...the only thing of any real value in there is the folklore add on pack...

Oh great MORE $2 songs for Rock Band. $170 wasn't enough? All this DLC is making games substandard and saying DLC is coming later tricks the buyer into thinking it's a worthy game. When you release a pack a week of DLC at $2 a song, that's saying somehting about your priorities.
