Great news for the PS3! I never actually played the first Bioshock but i've heard nothing but great reviews

Nah, I don't think Bioshock 2 is coming to the PS3, but anything is possible because it's not published by Microsoft Studios. I know that the Xbox 360 fanboys would hate it if we got our hands on this, but Bioshock in on the PC, so I don't see the big deal about letting the game being released on the PS3.

I haven't played the first Bioshock, and I really don't see a reason to play Bioshock 2 if I haven't played the first. If Bioshock 2 is coming out, the original should be released on the PS3 as well.

However, I think that it's good for a console to have 3rd party exclusives like Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PS3 and  Bioshock for the 360... well it's not really exclusive to the 360 because it's on the PC, but you know what I mean. It seems as if we may be in the last days of 3rd party exclusives because of the costs of video game production.

I have BioShock on the PC, and if BioShock 2 is as good as the original, it is going to be extremely fantastic. I just feel that a sequel will ruin the story of the first game. Except if it's a prequel... oh, "boyo"!

After playing the first one, they can have it.

If EA buys take-two, BioShock 2 will definitely be released for the PS3. EA doesn't like exclusivities.

I think articles like this are stupid... it's like they just decide to make one when they hear something from anyone claiming a game will be coming to PS3 with no real reason to make such a claim. Wait for some valid reasons to jump to any conclusions.

I want the first one ported first ;)  Then I'll take Bioshock2 ala PS3 :D

Like others have stated; give us the first one and I'll probably pick up the second. Otherwise, don't waste my time by making a sequel to a game that I have to buy an unreliable console or update my comp to play. Not to mention, isn't this a "Games for Windows" title? If so, then it still falls under the ms games umbrella.

Yes, for $29.99 then I would buy it.............Juz like Lost Planet: EC, which was $39.99 but it wasn't worth the $39.99 should have been $29.99....

Bioshock was good, but late 2009? I could probably care less by then. The PS3 is going to have so many exlcusives by then that this wont matter as much. If we were deeper into the PS3 years when Bioshock released, it wouldn't have made such a huge splash. It would have been more of a hit like Okami.

MS lost another exclusive, wow this year things are flipped backwards compared to last year

I'm sure Microsoft have been signing cheques again to secure the sequel? That's all Microsoft seems to do? Devs go to 360 becasue of the cash while devs go to PS3 because its their console of choice and you have all those in-house games from Sony, Microsoft has nothing if they couldn't use their cash.

Ive played the first one and it was amazing, so i hope this one does come to PS3, i will be buying it on day one, IF it comes to the PS3

When I first started coming to this site (which was not that long ago), they seemed more willing to state in the title that it was a rumor.  Now they seem to be a lot less responsible.  My goodness, I can run a website and say whatever I want, too.

FLAME WAR!!! RUMOR MILL!!!  Imagine my surprise that Microsoft is keeping this sequel exclusive, just like Gears of War.
