The latest instalment in Electronic Arts’ highly successful Burnout series, Burnout Paradise, has debuted at the top of the UK All Format charts this week.
Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game proved immensely popular with consumers, with Microsoft’s console accounting for 53 per cent of overall sales, and 47 per cent going to Sony’s platform.
Elsewhere, PS3 continues to make a dent in the charts with Infinity Ward’s ubiquitous Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare continuing to sell well, along with Ubisoft’s historical action/adventure title, Assassin’s Creed.
Stay tuned for our review of Burnout Paradise here at PSU in the coming weeks.

Wasn’t impressed with the demo, maybe it wasn’t a fair representation of the game.

@H3Lix EA on the whole suck, mostly with their sports franchise, you cant deny that they role out sloppy so called new games that have bearly anything changed.
But sticking to the topic Burnout Paradise is a top game, the only anoying thing is that if you loose a race you have to drive all the way back to the checkpoint to retry again, other than that its SUPER fast and top fun, well done criterion
