Insomniac Games has included an option in Marvel’s Wolverine that allows players to control the speed of the game, allowing you to create some cinematic slow-motion action sequences that echo what you would see in Hollywood movies.
The option is part of the game’s accessibility menu, and can be mapped to a DualSense button of your choice allowing you to toggle between the regular game speed and a slower setting. Marvel’s Wolverine can be slowed to 30% game speed, which creates a slow-motion effect and gives sequences more of a cinematic flavour at your command.
While we’re on the subject of Marvel’s Wolverine, developer Insomniac Games revealed earlier this week that it’s been “cooking hard in response to some of the feedback,” and strongly hinted that this pertains to criticism to the scent mechanic featured in the game. We’ll just have to wait and see what Insomniac is working on, though.
Marvel’s Wolverine is now available for PS5 and you can read our full review here.
