What you may not know of, is a list of possible confirmed games from Activision Blizzard, which may not come to surprise given the supreme popularity the titles.
Appearing under the “About Activision” portion of the Activision Blizzard fact sheet includes mention of Guitar Hero IV, Call of Duty 5, James Bond, a new Tony Hawk, DreamWorks, and Marvel titles.
When asked, an Activision spokesperson declined the opportunity to comment on any of the titles listed in the fact sheet, which can be viewed here.

I doubt COD will go that modern, but hopefully COD3 was the last of the WWII era in the franchise.

CoD 5 makes sense and a GH 4 for PS2 also does but what can they do for GH 4 on 360 and PS3 that would be different than GH 3. Surely there is no need for another GH with new tracks when we can keep downloading them from the store?

guitar hero IV wow just another reason to buy 50 or more songs and use the same old ps2 guitar at least I hope they make some major changes not just some new people and revamp the whole thing so it does not feel like your buying guitar hero III with new song. we all can just hope for a better game.
