Pearl Abyss has announced that it has pushed the release of Charting the Unknown DLC for Crimson Desert to October 29, two weeks later than its original launch date.
Speaking in a post on the game’s official X account, the developer revealed that it has “determined that we need additional development time to deliver a more polished and stable gameplay experience. Therefore, we have decided to move the DLC’s release by 2 weeks to October 29 GMT/PT. We know many of you have been looking forward to returning to the game and we sincerely apologise for the longer wait.”
Charting the Unknown takes place beyond Pywel’s shores, and sees players taking command of their ship and sailing across the ocean to explore islands off the coast, while diving beneath the waves to uncover treasures, sunken ruins, and hidden mysteries. Meanwhile, you’ll also be able to mark your mark by renting and managing various properties to earn your fortune, with the upgraded Housing mode letting you build a home that’s truly to your liking.
Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown is now due out on Oct. 29.
