Capcom has revealed that Dead Rising 2 will now be released in European territories on September 24.
The zombie sequel was previously scheduled to launch in the region on October 1. As a result, the PAL conversion will now hit store shelves a few days before its U.S. counterpart, which releases on September 28.
Dead Rising 2 kicks off half a decade after the events of the original game, with the undead having since invaded the majority of the United States. Set in the Las Vegas-inspired Fortune City, players follow the efforts of fresh-faced hero Chuck Greene as he battles the zombie attackers in an effort to liberate the few survivors that have managed to hold out against the decomposing hordes.
