Capcom has confirmed details on its second batch of Mega Man 9 downloadable content headed to PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE this week.

Three items will be available for purchase, details of which can be seen below.

Hard Mode:

Known as Hero Mode in Japan, this option allows players to tackle the game on an increased difficulty setting featuring alternate enemy locations and spawning points. Note that this difficult level is not compatible with Rankings or Challenge Modes.

Expert Mode:

Expert Mode represents the ultimate challenge for Mega Man 9 players by tripling the default difficulty setting of the game. Known as Super Hero Mode in Japan.

Special Time Attack:

This final piece of content allows players to tackle an additional Time Attack Mode stage, pitting gamers against an all-new Robot Master Boss, known as “Fake Man.” As with the above two modes, Special Time Attack is not compatible with Challenge Mode.

The content pack hits North America on Xbox LIVE today, with a PSN release following on October 23.
