Capcom has lifted a blood-soaked curtain up on a brand new Resident Evil 5 trailer at the Tokyo Game Show this week, unveiling a number of new plot details including the reappearance of Chris Redfield’s long time adversary, Albert Wesker.

The trailer is decidedly spoiler heavy, depicting a number of key scenes lifted from various stages throughout the game, though we must say the visual quality has us completely mesmerised.

Check out the trailer below.

Resident Evil 5 will be winging its way to store shelves on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from March 13, 2009.

I AGREE 10000000000000000% With comment # 5 from NDGO... This has a very similar feel to MGS 4... And it is because both games have the same goal... To tell the story in a cinematic way with seamless transition from CG to actual Gameplay... The only thing is that if they want to do this game the right way they will need more than 3 DVD's on the 360... I personally believe that this game would have been much better as an exclusive to PS3; that Blu-Ray is something else.... Im expecting an excellent game but... thanx to Microhoe...a relatively SHORT ONE! :'(
