Square-Enix announced today that it’s PlayStation Portable title, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, will be released in European territories in spring 2008.
Crisis Core was released in Japan last September to critical and commercial success, contributing towards a significant spike in the number of weekly PSP’s sold in the region.
Serving as a prequel to the original Final Fantasy VII, first released on PlayStation in 1997, Crisis Core is an action/RPG title in which players control Zack; a young mercenary serving in an elite military unit named SOLIDER, who joins fellow members Sephiroth and Angeal on a mission to locate their missing comrades.
Hopefully Square will pin down an exact date in which PAL gamers can expect the game, so stay tuned for any further developments.

The US will be getting this in March 2008!!! (it was announced late last year!)
I just hope they release a collector's edition FFVII PSP with the game, just as they did in Japan!!!
