DELAYED: MotorStorm 2 video coming on Wednesday

Update:  JeuxVideo has delayed the video until March 12.  We believe this is due the game developer placing an extended seven day embargo on the video.

Jeuxvideo.com has released information that seems to be leading to a new exclusive video of MotorStorm 2 to be revealed this Wednesday.  The entire site is in French, but that isn't a problem. Here is a basic translation for what is being said.

"JeuxVideo will have an exclusive video in regards to MotorStorm 2.  The video will arrive on Wednesday, March 5 and will be about the next title from Evolution Studios which is published by Sony.  You know this title exactly (very well), and you can watch the premier video of this game. Come back on Wednesday at 19:00 hours."

So, from what they're saying, it would seem likely that they will have the very first look into MotorStorm 2.  We'll keep our eyes open and bring it to you the moment it hits.  So keep checking back on Wednesday for the update.

    Cant wait to see what they have improved in terms of GFX. Maybe it will be closer to the E3 trailer.

    It's about time something about Motorstorm 2 has surfaced. I knew that Motorstorm 2 was supposed to come out this year, but I starting getting doubtful because there was no info or videos about the game. I really loved Motorstorm and I can't wait for the 2nd game.

    I know one thing, Evolution Studios needs to make Motostorm 2 a longer game with much more race tracks and they need to add more Single Player modes such as an Arcade Mode. I think that the first Motorstorm game was a little rushed because it almost didn't even seem complete because of the lack of game modes.

    I think that Motorstorm would be really cool if there was weapons that you could use while racing such as Missiles, Landmines, etc... But obviously that's not going to happen because the Motorstorm series wasn't set up intially as a Combat Racing game.

    Motorstorm Madness for the win!! The first motorstorm is awsome, hope they will put the same hardcore violence in the Motorstorm 2

    Oh my god, MS was my favorite racer of 2007 really tons of fun specially with the new tracks what ever Evo Studios does i will buy cant wait for this badboy.

    Carl - Do you know that this is the game that the BBC was talking about? I read that they had seen a game that blew them away but I did not know it was MS2. If it is then good stuff the first one still makes me smile from ear to ear.

    They fixed the missing split-screen.  If they can fix the load times, it will be perfect.  I can't wait for this game.

    I have the first game, its pretty good! I hope that there will be more content and game mode, ofcause also co-op and a better singleplayer experince!

    great! motorstorm is the best racing game around. hope you can create your own cars or at leased your own tracks in MS2! and split-screen would be great. i don't think the graphics needs improvement. and the level designs are perfect!

    Can't wait to see what it looks like. First one came with my 80GB and looks great in HD and is in my opinion one of the best looking and fun racers out there.

    A few days ago i decided to dust off Motorstorm and boot it up in the ol' 60gb. I enjoy the game every time i play it. I believe Motorstorm is the best offroad racing game available to date, and Motorstorm 2 can only be better!

    Things they really need to have in this sequel:

     

    More levels.

    Faster speed.

    Offline multiplayer.

    Faster loading times.

     

    If it has that, I'll buy it.

    Well...I'm a late PS3 adopter and have not picked up even the first one, I'm hoping the sequel will be so feature rich and so incredible that I needn't worry about missing out on the first.

    Looks good.  I really liked the first Motorstorm, but I do agree that it seemed a little unfinished.  They really do need more tracks.  At first the game was pretty easy, but then the competition got psycho on me.  That was cool and all, but I was kinda tired of racing on the same tracks over and over again.
