Looks good, it has a dark/mature feel to it , not like the usual japanese RPG 

and why would a website called "Playstation Universe"  advertise  xbox360 games?  I just saw a Fable 2 ad

Sadly I feel this is a japanese attempt at another oblivion. Not that Oblivion is a bad game, it's not my style but I can't say it's bad. the problem is WE ALREADY HAVE ONE and most people never finished it because it was so freaking long. We dont need another oblivion, we need another ORIGINAL fantasy RPG. This is too western and western fantasy is done to death and often cliche. Not that Japanese RPGs can't be that as well but atleast they arn't as boring when it happens.

 

I hope they prove me wrong in the comming months but frankly I'd rather see another Legend of Dragoon than another Oblivion. ....but you know what. atleast it IS an exclusive RPG, I am so tired of M$'s cheap tactics of just buying everything to destroy their opponents regardless of if they actually make any money, so it seems like we have to be greatful for anything we get at this point.

In the context of what that post meant that is nothing but a big oxymoron. Western RPGs are FAR less common and cliche than the traditional anime styled RPGs that constrict Japan's market and sometimes trickle over here.

Looks tasty, gotta disagree with most and say it doesn't look like that shovelware Oblivion to me. Although I'm usually loathe to grab action (press button-hack with sword) RPGs I'm not gonna jump to conclusions. Something about the feel of this one grabs me, I like that you get to build your own Hero and I just hope it isn't like Baldurs Gate. Must agree this is another bit of westernization, but I guess we are just going to have to get used to it.

Honestly. Im not a fan of new IP's. I like FF games, Fable, GTA, Resident Evil. So im never a fan of new IP's but this one really looks good. Im surprised. But it looks good.

Uh...LastJohn, that makes little sense...all those series were new IPs at one time..Fable was still a new IP until the second one was revealed. Did you suddenly like Fable 1 after the second one was announced, whereas you hated it before? Since your words were '...I'm never a fan of new IPs'.  lol.
