One of the growing trends in the videogame industry is hardware bundles of highly anticipated software, with Sony recently announcing it will be putting together a special bundle release of Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 in the region.

The DMC4 bundle will include the 40GB PS3 console, Blu-ray special features disc, and the game itself. Additionally, buyers will be able to choose from either the white or black PS3 consoles. Remember the white PS3 console anyone?

No word yet if this will hit Europe and North America as well, but one can only hope as it is sure that plenty consumers would lust over the possibilities of getting a hold of the white PS3, given that t is such a rare commodity. Head to Kotaku for the box shot images.

Devil May Cry 4 will release in Japan on January 31, 2008 with the North American and European launches following in early February.

Sony.....is absolutely....amazing. I've never seen better strategizing before, it's ridiculous. Devil May Cry 4 is a HUGE Japanese thing, PS3's will be flying into Japanese houses when this box hits the market.

dmc4 is not going to be released in Japan for the x360, so its an exclusive tittle for Sony and now with this.

    PS3 FTW !!!!!!!!!!

Better bundle than the stupid Genji one during the launch.  So rather than buying another PS3, I'll just get the Collector's Edition of the game.

the white budle will certainly sell out in less than a week. This will be great. I love DMC, and I am sure if this one is not the best in the series then it will be the second best.
