According to reports from The Guardian, Sony’s London Studio has confirmed that development of the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 title, Eight Days, is currently "ramping up to full production.”

The studio is also working on the PS3 version of The Getaway, which is currently in pre-production stages until work on Eight Days is complete.

Phil James, Eight Days Senior Producer, commented, "The idea is to have two pre-production teams and one production team, which flips onto whatever product, at that point of time, is ready to have that team working on it.”

Eight Days was first unveiled at E3 2006, and takes the form of a Third-Person action game with multiple driving sequences spliced in with regular on-foot missions.

Stay tuned.

london studios looks to be making some amazing stuff. This will probably top killzone.. and i say that knowing how cliche I sound lol.  They probably will put out the best looking games of 08 and 09, though.

psn id: gingo.... the trailer for this released in 2006, CG or not looked amazing, this is definitely a title that could sell masses of copies for the ps3 as long as they advertise it enough
