Hmm, I'm not convinced. I asked on the Bethesda site, I don't think there is a new patch for ps3, we got a patched they called 1.1 last month...
The 'new' patch for ps3 is only for some European countries, us in the UK & US got our patch last month.
I believe what PC & 360 got yesterday was a much more extensive patch that we've had or are likely to get for some time.

@1 It is a good game, but right now Oblivion is better as it has less issues.

damn, that's a lot. why couldn't they just keep the game in development until all these issues were fixed?
@1: i don't know if it is better than oblivion but i like the concept behind fallout 3. i love the ability to just wander around and do what you please but i like structure, too. when a game is linear without much exploration, it just doesn't feel like a game to me. i don't know how to explain it. i was playing resistance 2 last week and all through the game it just feels natural. it must be the pacing or something because that game just rocked. Fallout 3: i would like to have more time with it so i can give you a straight answer. but to have that many fixes just signifies to me that they didn't take enough time to fix it before they released it.

Fallout 3's the shart. That's cool they took all that time to fix all that crap. But, it's unfortunate that PS3 got shafted on the upcoming DLC with additional areas, costumes, and quests. This isn't the first time this has happened to a PS3 game either.

Don't get carried away - there is NO NEW PATCH! If you are in the US or the UK you already got the patch, if you are in 1 of 4 EU territories, you got the same old trophy+ patch from last month but in your language. The 360 & PC got a proper patch fixing loads of problems, did our patch last month fix all those? Not according to a lot of people. Follow the link to Bethesda site in my previous post.
@15 You're right, there is no new patch for us. What we have is called 1.1, but I don't see that it is the same as the other two 1.1s

This update was applied a while ago and some of them are still causing me trouble, for example some quest items being in your inventory under Misc. items won't be dropped no matter what, even if their useless. However this game is great and is one of greatest Rpg's on the PS3 yet. I especially like it in Vats mode when you blow somones head up into a gory, guts, strewn paste.

Hey, go easy of the PSU boys. Yesterday Bethesda issued a press release & also released patch 1.1 for PC, 360 & 4 PS3 terretories. If you take the time to read the other comments above & follow the links instead of firing off you'd see tha yes there is no new patch for us ps3 owners who live in the US or the UK, you already have it, or some of it, or something with the same number at least ;)
@ 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30 etc... Patch 1.1 for ps3 *WAS* released yesterday for German, Italian, Spanish & French people. It was a valid news item today for PSU to put up, they just didn't mention the countries it applied to. The world does not begin and end in the US or UK. Some sites reported it in just the same way late yesterday, eg kotaku.com/5130241/fallout-3-bug-fix-update-hits-pc-ps3-and-xbox-360
