Well-respected Japanese videogame magazine Famitsu has issued a correction for the release date of The Last Remnant on PlayStation 3.

Initially cited for release in November as part of the specialist 'Famitsu PS3 Vol.XIII DKΣ3713 EX.Report' (snappy title), Famitsu clarified that the PS3 release is still unconfirmed, with only the Xbox 360 version locked into 2008.

Bad news all round then, as the Square-Enix fantasy RPG is shaping up to look somewhat special. We can only hope for a late '08 release.

yep, money talks and MS gave SE a Mount Fuji size pile of $$$ to have these timed exclusives over the PS3 versions, Sony needs to fight back... HARD.

they are going to hold back the release of ff13 to make sure 360 owners get it at the same time do even though ps3 development is ahead but when the reverse happens they don't care if they shaft us. send them a message and buy ps3 exclusives. i'm tired of being treated as 2nd class by third party developers. especially those who made it big because of sony then stab them it the back.

squareenix  is pitiful man ithink sony should just feed them with a long spoon and keep it at that, sony should start funding Atlus and NIS since they show more loyalty

Sony should focus on in-house quality RPGs and send SE straight to "the inferno" ('h3II' is banned word for some reason, don't see why); let them go multiplatform and do crapy spin-offs if that's the direction they want to go but Sony shouldn't hold its breath on SE.

I think its funny how SE poured all their resources into FF: The Spirts Within, only to have it fail (I still supported it and went the theaters and bought the DVD). Then Sony bailed them out with money to keep them afloat. Now they are acting like that never happpend.  SE has changed and seems like for the worst. A little advise for you SE... Don't bite the hand that feeds you. If you think MS is that new hand, you have another thing coming. Their are way more FF fans on the Sony isle then the  crashbox3fixme.

This amazes me! This game will not sell well on X360! No one pays 60 euros a year to play an offline game that may last 1 to 3 months to complete! Thats why games on X360! As long has they have online, they will sell better cause people want their money back in the form of entertainment. Offline game will not do that!

    Just my 2 cents! lol

Another waste of pointless RPG game, this is why FFXIII dont show up this year cause of games from Square Enix being developed lol.
