Famitsu details Siren remake for PS3

The latest issue of Japan’s Famitsu magazine has confirmed development of Siren New Translation for the PlayStation 3.

According to the publication, New Translation is currently around 90 per cent complete and currently scheduled for release on July 24 in Japan. The game is apparently a reworking of the original Survival Horror title on PlayStation 2, and contains a total of 12 episodes.

A demo is planned for release on the Japanese PlayStation Store on April 24.

    Actually it's not a remake.

    This time the main character is a foreigner,foreigner for Japanese.Go through the story from a different angle

    THIS IS NEWS!!! this is just the news i've been waiting for for a very long time! it's still in development! first the countdown and now this! but i hope it's not a remake. i want Siren 3! i'm a huge Siren-fan and i can't wait for this game! oh happy day!

    PSU. I can't add Forbidden Siren 1 and 2 for the ps2 to my games lists. Please add those two games to your selection of games for the lists (wish list, favourites list and collection list. oh and you should change the name of Siren(PS3) to Forbidden Siren: New Translation so people can tell the difference. Thank you!
