Final Fantasy XIII gets Japan 2009 release date

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIII will be released on the PlayStation 3 in Japan sometime during the 2009 calendar year.
Currently, Square Enix is developing the Japanese version first, which will be a PS3 exclusive in Japan. Then once completed, Square Enix will port the game to the Xbox 360 and localize the PS3 version for North America and Europe. Depending on languages and other conditions, it may not release in US and Europe simultaneously like previously promised.
Keep your fingers crossed that Square Enix will deliver the US and EU versions before the end of 2009 as well.

sweet! cant wait..i hope it doesnt go too far into the 2009 calender... im really looking forward to this game! and i also really hope it doesnt come out on 360 first...

That sound like they are going to port the game down for the US and EU for ps3 and xbox. So that mean that the ps3 and xbox will be the same. japan all of 50 gigs..... US and EU 10gigs the same as xbox. Is it me or is that what it seem like.

This is bull. Not a damn thing has shocked me yet. They announced some PSP titles......thats swinging the ball back in Sony's court? Give me a F'ing break some of those titles have been talked about for awhile now. Next they will announce FF7 remake on the DS with secret character Tidus from FFX just to make me never buy another one of their games. F my little life!

wont be buying this anymore anyway sinced its made to fit on the 360 but this was to be released in 2008 the year of the ps3 haha now its 2010 for eu and america by looks of it ,square screwed uz again

Yeah this is off my list , SONY has to many other more fresh games coming out , bill gates and SE can share the 2 copies i would have bought from stupid dev's greedy for money . I hate greedy devs Insomniac FTW !!!

Do you think that i shud go to japan and get it and bring it back ???? hope it comes out go on play.com and it says that the release date is 27/3/2009 but i may be wrong
