Media Molecule has released the first ever screenshot of a new LittleBigPlanet tool that'll allow level designers to import image files from their hard drive to use as stickers.

According to Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans, the new tool is ready for use and is just awaiting final approval from Q&A before being made available via an upcoming LittleBigPlanet patch.

"The work is done on the tool, and it just needs to go through QA and then certification."

This latest addition to LittleBigPlanet will allow users to import image files such as textures to paint and create objects. For example, importing an image of brass will allow the user to create a metallic like texture for objects.

    ...I sense a lot of people getting banned in the future for inapropriate stickers... Though I suppose it's intersting to note that I've heard no word about any other inapropriate stages like the giant penis launch being built yet so maybe there's still hope.

    This is good of them. They seem to have taken some concerns seriously and I hope it works out for everyone in the end.:)

    Im sure there will be some sort of moderation of uploads to sift through inapproproate material.

    Lets hope they enable a reporting system that is easily accessible & easy to use, just for such occurrences.

    @InfinityDevil

    What do you mean source?

    PSU is the source...this is the news section of a gaming site, not a forum full of posts by Joe Public. lol.

    @ 3 and 5...they already have a simple reporting tool...just press select, and it brings up the Good Grief widget, which lets you box the inappropriate item to report it...

     I'm really surprised by this I guess since they said they had no plans to implement this.  Then again, maybe they were having fun with everyone since technically, since the tool was done, they had no plans, as in future plans, to implement such a tool. :)

    Not that it really matters, but QA means Quality Assurance, not Question & Answer.
