The Gran Turismo series has always been known for pushing the graphical elements in videogaming. Even during the days of the PlayStation 1, the GT series presented fine details that truly fashioned an immersive experience. This is what has kept the glow of the series for such a long period of time and now with the highly advanced PlayStation 3, the line between what is real and what is not is beginning to blur.
Thanks to our devoted reader and member of the PS3Forums, PS3World, we now have a side by side comparison of actual in-game shots of GT5 Prologue set up against real life images of the same vehicle. The results are truthfully amazing with many of the videogame images actually looking more detailed than that of its real life counterpart. Even some of the background details are simply just too good for the eye. It is clear that the developers have nearly out done themselves with the visuals of this game.

simply amazing! I can't believe the detail in the cars, especially the Ferrari with the engine in the rear. The detail in the engine looked better than the real one!

WOW. Now that's amazing. I really couldn't even tell which ones were real and which pics were from GT5 Prologue. Forza 2 can't even compare. I can't wait for GT5 Prologue and I hope that the full GT5 game comes out in the U.S. late this year because it's already coming out in the U.K. in 2009.

does anybody knows if GT5P have any car damages? because they didnt say anything about it i was just wondering.
Killzone-Stealth, PD has said In the final game, yeah, there will be. But... as a GT fan, i still have doubts. I'm hoping for damages too to be honest. Nonetheless... you guys should really get the prologue... it's really more than a demo.
How can people here say that the GT5 images look better then the real life photos. Thats just stupid to say that.
