It's always nice to be given the ability to choose between three solid pre-order bonuses depending on who you give your money to. Amazon.com is offering up Home costumes for Killzone 2 pre-orders while Best Buy is throwing PS3 Themes to its consumers. However, we feel that perhaps GameStop may have the most to offer when it comes to Killzone 2 fanatics.
According to the official GameStop website, shoppers who decide to pre-order through their website or within their stores will receive access to the Killzone 2 demo coming some time in February. We've included the information from the website below.
Bonus Details Reserve Killzone 2 and receive exclusive access to the Killzone 2 Demo. You must have access to Playstation Network in order to redeem promotion code. Available for online and in-store customers, while supplies last.
Online Customers: Codes granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be sent via email starting on February 3rd.
In-Store Pickup / Store Customers: A rave card granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be available at time of game reservation.
So, now you have three options to choose from. Which sounds the most enticing to you?

not worth it, stick with the beta and wait for the game. Not even 2months away.

my gamestop will have a midnight launch, they did for MGS4, they had about 30 people waiting in line, i was 2nd in line beside a guy who was gettingthe MGS4 bundle and i got the limited edition bundle. so, there could be a good turn out for this game. i like going to midnight launches, it's alot of fun when you got the right gamers in line with you. but, the demo would be stupid to do that. i'll pre-order it on my next check.

Oh yea! This is the game that should of been released in November to compete with Gears of War 2. I'm buying this at EB Games at midnight. I really hope it doesn't get delayed.

I'm still holding out for some better preorder bonuses. So far these are really lame. I don't want a new Home outfit, this demo is only a few weeks ahead of the full game and probably available to Qore users anyway, and the Best Buy theme is cool but still... it's just a theme.
Where's somebody to step in and offer a Helghast figure or helmet or keychain or helmet keychain or something cool?

@13 yea you can but usually they like you to put the 5 bucks down on something else. They have been cool with me so far about it, but I dont do it all the time either.
Im half way tempted to order off Amazon for the Home costume. Does anyone know how soon they can have it to you though? Will it be at my door the same day as launch day or will it ship to me when its realesed?

@11 and why exactly does KZ2 need to compete against Gears?Shouldn't the important thing be the quality of the game? Further more, how can games on opposite platforms compete against eachother?

Downloadable content is not good however a playable demo on Blu-Ray would be collectible

I'm holding out for a better preorder bonus because I think those items should be tangible. Not to mention a Limited/Collectors Edition should be revealed shortly.
I mean, after all this time, countless claims, astronomical production costs, and pure hype, it deserves nothing less than a solid collectors/limited edition. Agree? -
