Gamestation giving away UK Resistance 2 beta keys

Yes, it's time for yet another beta key giveaway. This one's for UK PlayStation 3 owners only, though. According to CVG, UK-based retailer Gamestation has got its hands on some Resistance 2 beta keys, available free when you preorder the game.

Sony says you should get your skates on if you want a taste. "This is a strictly limited offer to anybody quick enough to order Resistance 2 from Gamestation while our stock of beta keys last," a rep commented.

"The Beta will include competitive maps from three locations in the game where you can battle up to 60 rivals at once. Alternatively you will also be able to battle alongside friends in one of the co-op levels in the game."

Resistance 2, as we're frankly sick of telling you by now, is a super-sized sci-fi FPS from Ratchet and Clank developer Insomniac Games. It's out on November 4 in North America, and November 28 in the UK.

    I already have the beta,  but i hope more UK game stores in the future start offering Beta codes for pre-ordering!

    This is takin the absolute p*ss, Insomniac said 2 us Euros th@ if uve pre ordered res 2 u will get a beta key, they didnt say anything about where 2 pre order it from. I pre ordered mine 4 months ago from gameplay so where the h3ll is my key Insomniac?

     hummm its a tempting offer, but GameStation are selling it for £40 where as Play.com and Amazon.co.uk are selling it for £35 so I think I'll buy it from one of them and wait for the full game.... besides, it'll give me a bit more time to play Far Cry 2 and Bioshock :)
