God of War III and Uncharted 2 shown in London

During a Sony Computer Entertainment staff meeting in London on Friday, SCEE showed new footage for a few highly anticipated titles including Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and God of War III.
According to an anonymous source that attended the event, a 30 second clip of in-game footage was shown for Uncharted 2, showcasing Nathan Drake under fire in an Aztecan environment. The source states that Uncharted 2 is not really a graphical leap from the first title, though as it's so early in development, that's not really unsurprising.
Finally a new, possibly in-game, trailer was shown for God of War III. The source states that the trailer began with Kratos wielding his swords and fighting off hoards of skeletons and several cyclopses. Then after hitching a ride on a giant eagle, Kratos kills it and drops off in front of a long, dark, deep cavern.
“Some of it looked like it could be in-game action because of the camera angles, but it all looked so good that it couldn’t be," said the source.
"CGI or not, everyone was pumped up by this. The anticipation is growing. God of War III could be amazing.”

Was Uncharted 1 not an Aztec environment? I was hoping Uncharted 2 would have a different setting..
I was really liking the sound of the rumoured Atlantis setting..that would've been cool !!

Uncharted provided me with the best gaming experience I had over the last 5 years.. looking forward to that. Killzone 2 looks real good but Resistance 2 is so amazing that I doubt I will have time for a new FPS already in febuary. God of War is amazing but it is not really my type of game.. nevertheless I look forward to that one as well.

Honestly ..that i sgreat news ..looks like the ps3 will be a force to reckon with in early 09... Uncharted was easily one of the best ps3 games to date..uncharted 2 = MUST buy for me.. as for GOW3 .. then ending of 2 really had me on my toes i need to see how they are goin to take the story. these plus killzone.. our exclusives are looking pretty good for next year.. even with out the help of square.

I hope GOW 3 will come atthe end of 2009, that, plus KZ2, GT5, H.R., plus others will make a great years just like this one, just one complain with this 2008, we just had one good (perfect) game in the 1 semester of 2008 and we have to wait to the 2 semester to see BIG exclusives again. Hope the 2009 will not be as divided as this one
