A quick update to inform our visitors that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is now available to purchase through the Japanese PlayStation Store or on import Blu-ray disc.
The PSN download costs approximately JPY 4,500, which amounts to roughly USD 40.
Prologue is the precursor to the final retail release of Gran Turismo 5, and includes a total of 50 cars, five tracks, in addition to full online multiplayer functionality for up to 16 players. The game will also support 1080p HD resolution.
North American gamers can expect the title to arrive some time in early 2008, alongside Wipeout HD.
