Gritty new Quantum Theory screenshots

Looking for a Gears of War-esque shooter for PlayStation 3? Then look no further than Tecmo and its recently announced sci-fi third person shooter, Quantum Theory.
Although details are scarce at present, we’ve compiled a list of known facts for you to digest below.
- Japan's answer to Gears of War
- Tecmo has confirmed Quantum Theory will be a PS3 exclusive
- Players assume the role of Sid, the "dark hero" who fights alongside a "white rebel" named Filerna
- The game takes place in a monolithic tower which has the ability to shape shift providing new cover or new dangers

I love gears of war so i will love this as long as it has online play.

sweet, hope they give us a demo. What surprise me is that this is coming from Tecmo and its PS3 exclusive. Are these the same developers that made NG: sigma?

i hope its a 3PS cause i'm tired of them but it looks good i hope Tecmo dont drop the ball like Ninja Gaiden 2. i hope this game come out in 09 and ppl should stop with this is the answer to GoW stuff. cause HAZE was to be a HALO killer and that game was a failure. we should wait till E3 to see more of the game then we can make assumptions

Now this game will show what happens when you take great ideas and put them to use on the ps3!I'm definitely keeping my eye on this one.

This game is totally up my alley. To be honest, GOW2 was one game that I am jealous that I can't have. I'm so sick of the over saturation of 1st person shooters that have came out in the last year. Granted, I'll still probably pick up Resistance 2, Bioshock, and Killzone 2 because I love sci-fi and horror but, I really wish that companies would start giving you the option in every game to change from 1st to 3rd person if you want to. That's why I bought LBP, Dead Space, and Fallout 3 instead because they each tried to be innovative in one way or another. I like Fallout 3 because at least it gives you the option to change your perspective. Actually Unreal Tournament 3 was another great 1st Person perspective game that (granted with mods) would allow you to change the perspective to Action Cam or 3rd person. It's not asking for much. Customization is everything to me in a game.
