So you're a huge Guitar Hero fan and just can't get enough of the game that you feel you must take it everywhere you go? Well then, Jada Toys, Inc. has just the solution for you!

Coming directly from this week's CES 2008, the company, in partnership with Activision, has announced a new "toy" that allows you to rock out on the go. Unlike the Guitar Hero games before, this one needs no console to work nor does it need a guitar. This version of Guitar Hero is all about the infamous "air guitar", yes the same air guitar you may have used in your car, in the shower, or even at a rock concert for years now.

But this brand new air guitar sports a different new look as it features new technology that incorporates guitar pics and a rockin' belt buckle that turns any rock fan into a rock star! The setup is that the user will have a wrist band which serves as a guitar pic and the belt buckle serves as the strum bar to control the tempo of the song, all while a mini amplifier will sit on your belt to pump out those sweet guitar riffs.

"Jada has a stellar reputation of delivering high quality, trend-setting toys," said Charles Huang, vice president of business development at Activision/RedOctane. "The Air Guitar Rocker is a unique product that captures the attitude of the Guitar Hero franchise perfectly, allowing rock fans and air guitar enthusiasts the opportunity to jam at will to some of the greatest guitar riffs of all-time."

This new air guitar peripheral will come with 5 licensed tracks from the Guitar Hero franchise including songs such as Black Sabbath's "Iron Man," Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water," Motorhead's "Ace of Spades," Van Halen's "You Really Got Me", Boston's "More Than a Feeling," and five original Air Guitar Rocker freestyle riffs. The songs will come preloaded on an "Air Cartridge" and you will be able to buy new ones to add more songs to your collection.

"Jada's motto is 'Keeping It Real' and we're confident we did just that with the Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker," said Jack Li, chief executive officer of Jada Toys, Inc. "Our innovative product pays homage to the great Guitar Hero brand by extending the fantasy of being a rock star to an exciting new format."

Now whether or not this will have crowds all over your hometown roaring for an encore or just have people think you are really weird for even considering buying this peripheral is yet to be seen, but expect this new addition to the Guitar hero franchise to hit stores sometime in March of this year with a price of $29.99.
