Red Octane has revealed that it will be releasing the theme tune to Top Gun for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Guitar Hero III later this week.
The guitar-driven, instrumental theme, which served as the anthem for the 1986 film staring Tom Cruise, will be available free for users to download on Thursday, July 3 via Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Store.
Performed by Steve Stevens, the theme went on to win a Grammy Award in 1987 for Best Pop Instrumental Performance.

The beginining is going to be boring to play on gh, but the song picks up around the 3 min mark.
