First a Judas Priest album and now The Cars. It sure seems like the team behind the hot-selling Rock Band sure has a thing for classic rock albums.
After promising an album from The Who and Nirvana as initial releases to the Rock Band full album download library, fans of the game have only seen an album from Judas Priest and in the near future will have The Cars' self-titled debut to choose from. The album, which released in 1978, will include all the tracks below:
* "Good Times Roll"
* "My Best Friend's Girl"
* "Just What I Needed"
* "I'm in Touch with Your World"
* "Don't Cha Stop"
* "You're All I've Got Tonight"
* "Bye Bye Love"

Harmonix has yet to reveal a release date or any details regarding the price of the album.

They're not that bad. Takes me back a few years. Although there are much better albums they could have focused on. So I agree with you there Auricom.
I wish Harmonix could get some ACDC or Led Zeppelin DLC. That would be so sweet!
i hate harmonix's taste of music i cant wait for GH4 every GH has had a much better sound track then RB i love RB but the freaking tracks kill me so glad GH4 adds everything RB has cant wait to play linkin park with all the instruments

Ummmmm Harmonix made guitar hero 1 and guitar hero 2......if you liked them like you said, then you don't hate Harmonix's taste in music. Just thought I'd let you know
psn id: gingo... they have a The Cars album and they dont even have Drive on it, well now i have seen everything
i know but they split the soundtracks and you can tell what songs harmonix picked and what songs red octane picked if you look at RB and GH3 then look at GH1 and 2 its an obvious observation

The Cars are not too bad.I'm just hoping for a Guns n Roses album like appetite for destruction.Motley Crue would be nice as well.Great fun music by both those bands.
the only way I will ever buy one of these fake-it games is if they somehow come up w/ a way for you to create your own music....now that would be fun....
@evilmonkey yeah GH4 has that its called freemode and the feature is confirmed but its rumored you can make music then let other people download it for free kinda like LBP with levels but in GH4 with music
