Harmonix ships stand-alone drum set to NA today

Harmonix has passed on word that their stand-alone drum set will be shipping to retailers in North America today.  If you're north of America, however, you'll have to wait a couple extra weeks for them to arrive in Canadian retail stores, sorry, eh!

This is good news for those of you who were too cheap to shell out the cash for the bundle.  Now you can just rock out on the drums if you so choose.  The set is going to retail for $79.77 USD and will now allow you to take advantage of Versus, Tug-O-War, and Score Duel modes for the drum set if you happen to have already bought the bundle and have two sets laying around.

Get ready to go one on one with your buddies to prove who is less terrible with the sticks.

    Indeed I saw the drum kit in Bestbuy on Thursday.

     

    But honestly unles you;re never going to play guitar ever in your life you might as well buy the bundle. 60 for tha game plus 80 for the drums?140 before tax. a guitar controller later will run you another 60 for 200 bucks! and that's not even counting a mic would you could have already but still if you ever play more than one instrument ever, you might as well buy the full set.

    This article is erroneous. The last time I checked Canada was still part of North America. If you ask me Canada puts the "North" in "North America"

    $80 ! ! ! ! Thats alot. The game is what $60? Plus $80 for the drums? How much will the guitat cost. I hope buying the guitar, drums, and game is cheaper than the whole pack. Although i doubt the difference will be much

    still waiting for the official release of the whole thing in the UK, can import it but thats not the point come on Harmonix sort it out!!
