Haze to release before March ends

With release dates being thrown around the internet as close as this week and as far off as September for PlayStation 3 FPS Haze's launch date, we finally have a clear, confirmed time-frame in which the title will release.
Ubisoft contacted Ars to clarify. Haze will without a doubt be available before the end of March.
Ubisoft decided to postpone Haze's original expected release in November to "put the final touches to the game." At least they're delaying Haze to actually increase the title's quality, not for monetary concern like these other Ubisoft games.
Get ready to see the world in a new light come March 2008.

I hate to say it, but it is in for some tough competition. First you will have the COD4 die hards, that will not go to anything new. Then you have Battlefield: Bad Company, and Army of two, and Rainbow Six 2. This is going to cost us FPS player a h3ll of a lot of $$$$$$

This is good news. Its been a long wait and Im sure it will be worth it. We need to have an exclusive that puts a PS3 game on top. Haze needs to score reviews in the 9.5 + area to keep pace with games like Bioshock & Crisis. It needs to be better than the cross platformers like Call of Duty 4 otherwise it will be considered as just another OK FPS.
Keep your fingers crossed this could be the breakthrough to keep things running until MGS4 arrives.

@Tom as - There are lots and lots and lots of FPS games out now...so we need something better than whats already available. Otherwise why buy it?
Just fun does not cut it particularly considering the cost and the expectation level everyone has for this game. Haze needs to be top shelf and Im sure it will be. Lets wait & see how it places against its peers.
Similarly, the expectations for MGS4 and Killzone 2 are very very high and they need to meet those expectations.

im glad alot of your are ready for this title, if this sells well then it will show ubisoft and others that ps3 fans will buy games. i have 28 games right now, and by years end ill have a ton more. ill be getting alot of games from january-march:
Burnout, Turok, Devil May Cry 4, The Club, Condemned 2 bloodshot, haze, battlefield bad company, darksector, turning point fall of liberty, along with some others that im guessing will come out between those dates. so like 12 games in three months atleast im guess...

I only have one problem with this, Haze was a go-between game for me, just a game to hold me over for the better ones, but the more it got pushed back the less reason I have to get it unless they improved it a great deal, and I mean great. Heck, Battlefield Bad Company and Dark Sector will be out in March also and April should be good as well. They just took too long.

this game shows a lot of promise would hate if free raical has let us down but due to history standards Free Radical has made some of the best FPS shooters around with high replay value and a lot bang for their buck.... can we say Golden ey 007! trust me free radical knows what there doing.
