Zero Point Software has unveiled a new teaser trailer for upcoming shooter Interstellar Marines.

Released under the moniker ‘Interstellar Marines: Photo Realism’, the footage depicts a bunch of suited up Marines posing in front of the camera for a couple of snapshots, before laying waste to a group of shark-like monstrosities in a brief but bloody gun battle. Impressively, the whole thing is running in real-time.

Check out the video below.

Interstellar Marines is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 later this year.

Looks like this could be awesome tho its early days and we have not seen so much. Bit like halo with better visuals meets aliens or dead space depending on story and atmosphere. Deffo gonna keep an eye on this

photo realism?   Are you sure?  Maybe I am watching the wrong trailer?

Sharks with legs in space?  Weird but could be fun.

I think they need to change the monsters a bit. Sharks with legs in space as someone already asked is a bit disappointing and unoriginal in my opinion.

How aren't sharks with legs in space not original? Seriously I'm pretty sure it hasn't already been done.

    Kinda weird tho.

    Fun trailer.

But they've misunderstood the concept of making a successful fps. They need to make the entire game on one single pun, and never make it any more advanced than that. Or else they're losing the target audience. Hopefully they'll make the controls both unchallenging and unnatural, so the scrubs can get right into the game, and ace at it from the first attempt, though. And create a cliched tale of how patriotism conquers evil aliens by merely existing (and being backed up by an interstellar economy), because if they don't, it's going to bomb sales- wise and, like, only sell 1,5 million the first month. Ph- a- ail, dude! FAIL!

This is what they can show us after almost 3 years in dev. I was hyped for this game back in 2006. It has alot of proving to do in the coming months, plus it's another fps... ALOT of proving to do.

Been waiting on some new news for this game.  Graphics look pretty amazing, a bit too smooth to be "photo-realistic" but definately some of the most impressive I've seen.  Fun trailer, and I'm sure sharks with legs aren't the only enemies in the game, this is just a random guess but I figure you'll be traveling around the solar system a bit in this game so it's likely there will be very different enemy types.  Just a guess, though.

Well basically the story is that years after our time.... sharks "from the cartoon street sharks" started to experiment on eachother turning them crazy and going from a good type to a bad one...so marines are set to kill them and hunt them down but little did they know that they created clones of themselves!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! lol pretty random shhhhtuff there!
